Deborah Sullivan Bonne’

Deb has been a registered nurse for 33 years, and now she is a guardian representative with LifeLinks. Her long-standing interest in psychiatry led her to work as a geriatric-psychiatric nurse on the geriatric outpatient team at Wake County Behavioral Health. In that capacity, she taught, conducted talk therapy, managed cases, and administered medication. Deb also evaluated at-risk adults for Adult Protective Services in order to determine their ability to care for themselves.

Deb lives with two large Lab mixes and a 13 year-old Tuxedo cat named Tom. Her adult son lives in Chapel Hill, and her daughter and son-in-law live in Wake Forest – and they are expecting Deb’s first grandchild (a boy!) this year! Deb’s hobbies include reading, knitting, crocheting, baking, and gardening. She enjoys a fairly healthy lifestyle – and loves to dream about how much healthier she would be if she exercised. Deb is currently writing her memoir and using her needlework skills to make clothes and blankets for her precious grandson-to-be.
