Julie has been a care manager since 2006, and prior to joining the LifeLinks team in 2012 she worked as a social worker in nursing homes for eight years. Her passion for serving elders was inspired by her great-aunt, who was a Navy nurse and nursing home owner. Julie developed a love and compassion for older adults, caring for them as if they were her own family. She started volunteering and working in nursing homes during high school and college as a Coordinator and Assistant in the Admissions Department. Julie was also served as an Activities Director with Alzheimer’s patients. After college, she spent some time working as a manager at a National Parkinson’s Rehabilitation Clinic.
Julie is also a Teepa Snow positive approach consultant, and she has been an Alzheimer’s Support Group Facilitator since 2012. Julie prides herself on being a hard worker and a dependable contact for her clients, especially in their time of need.
When Julie is not caring for her clients, you’ll find her happily spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs, or helping advocate for the Alzheimer’s association.
