Terri is a career social worker with more than 30 years’ experience in care management, administration, supervision, and training. Her background working with children and families in therapeutic foster care has given her valuable experience in the fields of healthcare, disabilities, mental health, and education. She has helped hundreds of individuals and families in crisis. Serving others in a way that is person-centered, strength-based, and enhances dignity and self-worth are inherent values in her practice. Terri appreciates the unique life experiences of senior adults and their families and helps families see those experiences as pathways rather than barriers to health, safety, and independence in aging.
Terri has a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Political Science from MTSU and an MSSW degree from the University of Tennessee College of Social Work. She is married and has three adult children. Terri enjoys playing guitar, drums, and piano, walking for exercise, and watching TV crime dramas and mysteries. She is an avid MTSU Blue Raider sports fan.
Terri is a Licensed Advance Practice Social Worker (LAPSW) and has a certificate in Elder Care Coordination. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), the Mid-Cumberland Council of Health Care Social Workers, and the Senior Services Network.
