Julie Ehrlich holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Gerontology/Nursing Home Administration from the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.  Like so many on the LifeLinks team, Julie was brought to us from a passion to serve elders and an inspiration from a family member.  Julie’s great-aunt, a Navy Register Nurse and nursing home owner, instilled in Julie a love of older adults and the compassion needed to care for them as if they were her own family. Julie started volunteering and working in nursing homes in high school and college as an activity coordinator, and assisted in the admissions department. After college, Julie spent some time working with Parkinson’s patients in a rehab setting. She worked as a social worker in nursing homes for 8 years until she became a Geriatric Care Manager in 2006.

Julie has been a care manager for 10 years and is certified through the ALCA.  She is also a Teepa Snow positive approach consultant and has been an Alzheimers Support Group Facilitator for 3 years.  She prides herself on being a hard worker and dependable for her clients, especially in their time of need.  When Julie is not caring for her clients you can find her spending time with her two daughters and husband or helping advocate for the Alzheimer’s association.
