Jo Singer- Aging life care specialist
& Physical Therapist

Jo is a licensed Physical Therapist with 40+ years of experience in various settings, and a focus on the geriatric population. She is one of only seven Certified Members of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers in Middle Tennessee. Most recently, her practice has been in home health physical therapy, where in addition to rehabilitation, she performed patient balance and home safety assessments. Much of her work has been in patient education. Working in five states, she has been director of an acute care hospital rehabilitation department, a clinical supervisor of P.T. students, and facility care manager for adult day care and nursing home facilities. On staff at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, she pioneered rehabilitation protocols for Parkinson's patients following the development of L-Dopa therapy and assisted in the development of post-stroke protocols. She is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.

Jo is a certified Aging Life Care Specialist through the ALCA and LifeLinks’ trusted physical therapist. When Jo is not focused on improving the quality of life for her clients, she is a long time member of the League of Women Voters and is passionate that every American understands the issues at hand and has their voice heard.
